March 6, 2017: Step Away from the CD Player

We all know that music is good for kids, but not everybody feels prepared to lead music activities in the classroom without relying on a CD player. Don't save music
just for circle time and transitions... make it part of your regular classroom activities. We'll show you how.

In this active, fun workshop, we'll be singing, dancing, moving, and playing. You'll get hands-on participation in learning approximately 12-18 new musical activities that you can put to use in your classroom -- songs and games that promote bouncing, rocking, fine & large motor activities, circle dancing, instrument and manipulative play, call-and-response and listen/echo activities. Music is fun and it meets the needs of children and adults!
This workshop is approved by NDE/DHHS for 1.5 hours of in-service, and is perfect for teachers & caregivers of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Details:
